Our Story

November 5th, 2018, three weeks after Sarah started her career, Nick asked Sarah “so how do you generate revenue?” and the rest is history…

After almost a year of solo living, Sarah and Nick unintentionally competed in a 'Who Can Speak Louder on the Phone' contest when they became living room officemates. (Spoiler: Nick won.) Little did they know, amidst the chaos, laughter, and open communication, they were laying the foundation for a successful life together.

Both eager for a fresh start in ‘21, they transformed a townhouse into a home and frequently say “I love the home we’ve built togetha”.

Sharing a deep love for their families, they were relieved by how seamlessly they blended into each other's families. Regardless of whose family they were with for the holiday, celebration, or vacation, it was guaranteed to be full of laughs.

Our first photo

Over the years we’ve developed our own (patented) phrases. Here’s a few:

  • Late nights, work trips, stressful weeks are all “for the farm” aka for the future.

  • 6 years in and Sarah still gets excited when Nick walks in at night. She’ll run to the door saying “nickay’s home” followed by a big hug :)

  • Sarah grew up going out to eat with her mom and splitting 3 apps. Nick loves to order the “fattest” item on the menu. So over the years they’ve compromised and 9.7 out of 10 times they will split two entrees- referred to as “splitsy”

Our chosen family consists of lifelong friends—some we've known since childhood, others newer to our life, but all with whom we envision a lifetime of friendship with.

(almost exactly 5 years after their first convo)

  • European Nick will share a bottle of wine with you and have a pack of cigs in his pocket. But don’t fret, the moment he enters the uber from JFK, he’ll be back to biz as usual and most likely already on the phone with a client.

  • Sarah’s world opened up while studying abroad in Florence and she’s an aspiring jetsetter ever since.

Nick & Sarah have been twice together - both times were too extraordinary to put into words.

Sarah may not love being center of attention so a destination wedding is inevitably less eyes combined with unreal food, wine and views.

    • Unlike American Italian restaurants, they don’t bring a bread basket to the table

    • Tuscany is the same size as NJ (but much less people!)

    • They produce 1/3 of Italy’s leather (so shopping is a must!)

    • 65% of Tuscany is hills

    • The Leaning Tower of Pisa was built by mistake

    • In the 1300’s they were a trendsetter for pavements in Europe

    • The good local restaurants start dinner at 8PM but don’t fret there will always be an aperitivo to catch ahead of time. Aperitivo is a local tradition of a pre-dinner social gathering to enjoy a drink and light snacks at a bar, cafe or some restaurants.

  • Nick kisses Sarah every morning before he leaves for work...except once..

  • They met on hinge but grew up around the block from each other

  • Nick tends to cook more but Sarah is a DoorDash pro

  • Since Nick has an Andriod, he bought an iphone to leave at his office to send the occassional "blue message" or facetime call to Sarah. We call the phone "bluey"

  • Both their work and social lifes are non-stop, if it's not on the shared google calendar, it doesn't exist
